Toeic

The TOEIC is a language test, which serves the evaluation of listening, reading and grammar competences in the international business English and carries out appropriate certifications. While the TOEFL test awards more language certificates for the academic field, the TOEIC is used in the field of "Occupational English". It is now a standard measure of English language proficiency in the workplace and the largest existing English language language test program, which is conducted by more than 4.5 million participants per year.

The TOEIC exam has existed since 1979. The test was designed in the USA by the Center for Psychometrics ETS (Educational Testing Service). The test is mainly aimed at people who use English in a professional context and need a language certificate to document their English language skills. Also for those who apply to international companies, this exam is recommended. Most global corporations, as well as more than 5,000 international companies rely on TOEIC to assess language proficiency in English by their staff, to provide training and to set the level of English required for the given job.
